Creative Woodworking Woodcraft

           Home

A passion for woodworking has led me to build all kinds of things over the years. Sometimes it is just for a diversion; sometimes it is a customer request.  Sometimes it is for one of my other passions (like sea kayaking).  Whatever the reason, I just love building things from wood.

The following pictures show a sampling of the various things  I have made over the years that did not quite fit into a furniture or kitchen category...

A jewelry box made with cherry and figured eucalyptus

A maple gift box for for a rosewood and maple woodworking mallet

A custom fireplace mantle to match the customer's existing furniture.

A maple countertop wine rack with hand carved grape cluster...

       Arts and Crafts picture frames...

A custom eleven pane window to match the existing windows in a 1920's house...

A glass top Spanish cedar lined curly maple humidor for the cigar aficionado (me)...

Various lathe turned pieces...

Now this is Old School. I am making a couple of custom wooden flush mount floor vent registers with my 1930 Delta Bandsaw...

And a couple of  Mahogany touring kayaks.
